Decaf Ceylon Tea
Ceylon teas are known the world over for their full-bodied character, oftentimes exhibiting light citrus notes and an oaky finish. The unique environmental conditions of the Sri Lankan highlands and the Nuara Elia region, in particular, are to thank for this wonderful complexity.
This tea is decaffeinated using the CO2 method which uses pressurised carbon dioxide to gently bind with the caffeine in the leaf and remove it. This process is more arduous than some but helps to preserve the flavour of the tea.
