Decaf Darjeeling Black Loose Leaf Tea
Darjeeling is known as the champagne of teas and as a region, is revered around the globe for producing some of the best.
The fragrance and taste is a complex bouquet that reaches right out of the cup. Some would describe the taste as nutty; others find it reminds them of black currants, but most often it is described as being similar to the taste and fragrance of muscat grapes.
This tea is decaffeinated using the CO2 method which uses pressurised carbon dioxide to gently bind with the caffeine in the leaf and remove it. This process is more arduous than some but helps to preserve the flavour of the tea.
