Country of origin: Fujian Province - Xingchun region, China.
Caffeine content: Medium.
Antioxidant Level: Low.
Vegetarian, Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Sugar-free, GMO free, No artificial colours or flavours.
Prep: 1 heaped teaspoon of tea. 100°C for 3-7 min
Description: This tea has been smoked over real pine fires to give it a deep smoked flavour. If you like smoked fish or smoked meats this is definitely worth trying. For a soothing experience drink with a great book and a warm fire.
You may have tried Lapsang before but many versions of this tea use artificial flavours, this naturally smoked tea will give a totally different experience.
Serving Suggestion
Carol enjoys hers with a spot of milk, Liza prefers it black in the evening.
For iced drinks either cold brew overnight or brew as for hot but use more tea leaves to make a more intense flavour.

Fabulous smokiness
This is a fabulous tea and I love its heady smokiness that lasts throughout the entire drinking experience. Its excellent as a morning cuppa but refreshing in the afternoons. Unlike all the other Lapsang Souchong teas I've tried over the years, this is the only one which retains its unique taste and aroma from the opening of the packet to the final leaf. I am so pleased I've found the Tea Enthusiasts as I couldn't envisage drinking any other brand of Lapsang.
