Mad Hatters Blend

This is a madness of flavours that only begin to make sense when you are drinking it. A hint of liquorice and a lively, refreshing citrus flavour with a creamy, rounding vanilla note make this tea creation an extraordinary experience. The aromatic, slightly earthy base of Yunnan black tea, enriched by exotic ingredients such as lemongrass with its citrus scent, and the exquisite hazelnut brittle make this tea a breathtaking moment to enjoy all day long!
This tea forms part of our Alice in Wonderland-inspired collection. Named after the Mad Hatter character.

Serving Suggestions
- Liza loves this tea served cold. Adrian likes it hot and garnished with a stick of liquorice root. For iced drinks either cold brew overnight or brew as for hot but use more tea leaves to make a more intense flavour.
- Add a little milk and sugar to bring out the creamy vanilla, reminiscent of vanilla ice cream. This will mute the liquorice somewhat, so be careful not to add too much.
- Going without milk brings the liquorice to the front. As this tea has a low astringency, going without milk is acceptable to most palates.
- For iced drinks, either cold brew overnight or brew as for hot but use more tea leaves to make a more intense flavour.

Or for another from our Alice in Wonderland collection, try Duchess Grey - a delightfully fruity tea that's great with a drop of honey.

Delicious
I love this tea it has a malty sweetness that makes it a perfect tea for any time of the day. If you like your tea a little sweet I recommend using honey as it adds to the flavour.
