The brewed cup is a soothing deep red infusion with tobacco and vanilla overtones. Low in tannins this is a very easy to drink cuppa. As this is top quality Rooibos you can get 2 brews from one scoop meaning you get 40 first infusions from a 100g pack but you can get as many as 80.
Luxury grade Rooibos (Latin: Aspalathus linearis) grows only in the Cederberg district of the Western Cape province of South Africa. It was discovered more than 300 years ago by inhabitants of the region, who found it could be brewed into a refreshing, nutritious tea. In south Africa it is often drunk for medicinal purposes. BTW we pronounce it roy-boss.
